Rescheduling and Late Arrival Rules

Give 24 hours of notice for a lesson and 48 hours for a road test.

How Much Notice You Need

You need to give at least 24 hours of notice to reschedule a lesson and at least 48 hours to reschedule a road test. Without that notice, the lesson or test is forfeited.

Rescheduling Rules

  • Reschedule a lesson at least 24 hours ahead.
  • Reschedule a road test at least 48 hours ahead. New times depend on availability.
  • A fee may apply to last-minute changes.

Late Arrival Rules

Arrive at least 10 minutes before your lesson starts. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the lesson may be canceled.

For a road test, come 10 minutes before your time with your learner permit and your other documents.

If You Miss a Defensive Driving Class

The defensive driving course is held on the last Saturday of each month. If you miss your class, you can attend the class held the following month.
