Documents You Need on Test Day
Bring your learner permit, and your driver education certificate of completion if you are under 18. If you are 18 or older and have no permit, bring proof that you passed the written test instead.
These rules are set by Service Oklahoma and can change, so confirm them before you go.
- Your learner permit, showing your correct name
- Your driver education certificate of completion, if you are under 18
- Proof of passing the written test, if you are 18 or older and have no permit
- The test fee, if you have not already paid online
One More Step If You Are Under 18
Students under 18 must complete the free online Oklahoma Work Zone Safety course before the test. The course is online at workzonesafe.com.
After the test, a parent or legal guardian must go with you to the Tag Agency or Service Oklahoma to get the license. If they cannot come, they can provide a notarized affidavit.
Our Car or Your Own Car
You can take the test in our state-approved car or in your own car. Your own car must pass the vehicle safety inspection required by Service Oklahoma. If it does not, you can use ours.
When to Arrive and How Long It Takes
Arrive 10 minutes before your test time with your documents. A certified examiner rides with you, and the test takes about 20 minutes.
The examiner checks three things: traffic awareness, parking and maneuvering, and driving control.
