Some students come to us having driven for years in another country. Others are adults who never needed a license until now. Both groups start from a different place than a 16-year-old does, and this package is set up for them.
It includes the classroom course, 8 hours behind the wheel, a 1-hour practice drive, the official road test and free pickup within 10 miles of the office. Lessons are taught in English and Spanish.
If you learned abroad, you may handle a car well and still be caught out by local rules. The course for this package covers adapting to U.S. road rules and driving culture, traffic signs and signals, right-of-way, lane use and freeway driving. It also covers staying aware in high-traffic and urban settings.
For adults who are nervous behind the wheel, the school lists overcoming anxiety and building driving confidence as part of this course. Lessons are one-on-one with an instructor.
The two extra hours of driving, compared with the 6-hour packages, give more time for whichever of these is hard for you.

So for an adult, this package is a choice and not a state requirement. You choose it for the training and the practice.
ProDrive Academy does not issue licenses. Julius Ndifor Moma, a State of Oklahoma Designated Examiner, gives the test and approves the result. You then take it to a Tag Agency or Service Oklahoma. Ask Service Oklahoma ahead of time which identity documents it will want from you, since that part is outside the school's hands.
You have up to 6 months to finish. Eight hours of driving over that time is a little more than one hour a month, so the package bends around a job, college classes or travel.
Pickup is free within 10 miles of 5601 NW 72nd Street, Suite 124, Warr Acres, measured on Google Maps. That matters if you do not yet have a car or a licensed friend to bring you.
One thing is missing: a free retest. If the first test does not go well, you wait one day and book another separately. The Deluxe package includes a retest, but it has 6 driving hours and a 2-month limit. If a quick finish and a covered second attempt matter more to you than extra hours, compare the two.
