ProDrive Premium Model

The ProDrive Premium Model puts 12 hours behind the wheel inside a 30-day limit. No other package asks for as much driving per week, because the larger models only require their first 6 hours in the first month.

Twelve hours in 30 days is close to three hours of driving a week. That is a real commitment. It works for a student on summer break, between jobs, or otherwise free for a month.

Pickup is not on the list. Roadside assistance is not either; that comes only with the Advanced Model.

When lessons are a few days apart, the previous one is still fresh when the next begins.

The 12 hours cover the same skills as every package: traffic laws and signs, speed and braking, lane changes and merging, intersections and roundabouts, parking, weather and emergency maneuvers. More hours means more repetitions of each, and more room to return to the one that gives you trouble, such as parallel parking.

Teens still log their 50 supervised hours with a parent, including 10 at night. In a busy month, plan those drives around lesson days.

These three sit next to each other, and the differences are small enough to list. Express has 10 hours in 30 days and no test-day support. Premium has 12 hours in 30 days with deluxe support on test day. Premium Plus has 14 hours, with only the first 6 due in the first month.

So Premium Plus gives more driving at an easier pace, and Express gives less driving at nearly the same pace. Choose Premium if you want everything done in a month and want the test-day support.

One caution for students under 18: the state requires 180 days on a learner permit before the road test. Check your permit date against a 30-day package before you enroll.

The road test itself is at the Warr Acres office with Julius Ndifor Moma, the State of Oklahoma Designated Examiner. A pass goes with you to a Tag Agency or Service Oklahoma.
