Basic Driver's Education + State Road Test

Basic Driver's Education + State Road Test joins two things that are often done in separate places. You take the classroom course and 6 hours behind the wheel here, and then you take the official Oklahoma road test here too.

The test is given by the school's owner, Julius Ndifor Moma, who is a State of Oklahoma Designated Examiner with license number 4120. There is no second driving test at Service Oklahoma afterward.

This package suits a first-time driver who wants the plain route: learn, test, and go get the license.

Here is the order things happen in with this package:

• Attend a weekend class at the Warr Acres office until you have at least 10 classroom hours
• Book your 6 hours of driving lessons by appointment
• Take the road test, which lasts about 20 minutes
• Carry your passing result to a Tag Agency or Service Oklahoma, where the state issues the license

A student under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian along for that last step, or a notarized affidavit from one. Adults can go alone.

This package has a 2-month limit, and the state has its own clock. If you are under 18, you must hold an Oklahoma learner permit for at least 180 days before the road test. If you are 18 or older, the wait is 30 days, or you can show proof that you passed the written test.

So count the days on your permit first. A teen whose permit is already several months old lines up well with a 2-month package. A teen with a brand new permit should call the office before enrolling and ask how the test would be timed.

Teens also need to finish the free online Oklahoma Work Zone Safety course before the test.

The package covers one road test. It does not include a practice drive beforehand, a free retest, or pickup.

If you do not pass, the state makes you wait one day before trying again, and the retest is booked and paid for separately.
