Take Your Result to a Tag Agency
When you pass, you take your passing result to a Tag Agency for your license. There is no separate driving test at Service Oklahoma.
You can go the same day. These rules are set by Service Oklahoma and can change, so confirm them before you go.
If You Are Under 18
A parent or legal guardian must go with you to the Tag Agency or Service Oklahoma after the test. If they cannot go, they can provide a notarized affidavit instead.
If You Are 18 or Older
You can go to the Tag Agency on your own once you pass.
The Intermediate License for Teens
Teens who pass the road test receive an intermediate license. It carries limits on late-night driving and passengers.
The restrictions lift after a period of violation-free driving.
Documents and Address Changes
Service Oklahoma asks for proof of identity, your Social Security number and proof of Oklahoma residency. Applicants under 18 also need a parent or guardian and school documents.
If you have moved since you got your permit, you can update your address when you get the license. Check Service Oklahoma's current document list before your visit, because the wrong paperwork is the most common reason people are turned away.
