ProDrive Advanced Model

The ProDrive Advanced Model has 20 hours behind the wheel. That is more than three times the driving in our 6-hour packages, and no other package on this list has as many.

It is meant for a learner who wants an instructor in the passenger seat for a long stretch of learning. That could be a very anxious beginner, an adult with nobody at home to practice with, or anyone who wants each skill well rehearsed before the test.

Only the first 6 hours of driving carry a deadline. They must be done within the first month. The other 14 hours follow by appointment, in morning, evening or weekend times.

So the start is brisk and the rest is steadier. Fourteen hours after the first month is enough time to go back to a hard skill again and again, whether that is merging, a roundabout or reverse parking.

The classroom course is the same as in every package: unlimited hours, 10 at minimum, in weekend classes.

The Advanced Model includes the official road test and two free retests. That adds up to three attempts covered by the package.

The number matters because of a state rule. After a failed test you wait one day. After three failed tests, you must wait 30 days before testing again, and that count includes tests at any school or Service Oklahoma station. With this package, every attempt up to that point is already included.

The package also includes a 1-hour practice drive before the test and Test Day Deluxe support.

You can take the test in our car, or in your own if it passes the vehicle safety inspection that Service Oklahoma requires. Either way it happens at the Warr Acres office.

This is the only package that includes roadside assistance. It is free for one year.

New driver coaching is included. So is the defensive driving class, a 4-hour class on the last Saturday of each month from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, holidays excluded.

Pickup is not included. Only the Deluxe package and the Adult and International Deluxe package have it.

If 20 hours feels like more than you would use, Premium Plus has 14 hours on the same two-phase timeline, with one free retest and no roadside assistance.

A note for parents of teens: Oklahoma's 50 supervised hours with a parent still apply, 10 of them at night. Twenty hours with an instructor are separate from those.
