In detail
Premium Model Plus has 14 hours behind the wheel, and its deadline works differently from the 30-day packages. Only the first 6 hours of driving must be done in the first month. The other 8 hours come after.
That gives the package two phases. The first month is a quick start, at roughly an hour and a half of driving a week. The second phase is for building on it.
Ask the office when you enroll how your later hours will be scheduled.
Six hours is the total in several of our packages. With Premium Plus, you reach that point and still have 8 hours left.
Use them on purpose. Tell your instructor what still feels shaky and spend the time there. The course topics include merging, roundabouts, parallel and reverse parking, driving in different weather and emergency maneuvers.
For teens, the second phase can run alongside the 50 supervised hours Oklahoma requires with a parent, 10 at night. Something practiced in a lesson can be repeated at home that same week.
Keep the 1-hour practice drive for the end, shortly before the road test.
It fits a new driver who wants more instructor time than the 6-hour packages give but cannot drive three hours a week for a month. It fits a nervous beginner who wants the first skills quickly and then time to grow.
It is more than you need if you already drive comfortably with a parent and mainly want the course and the test. A 6-hour package covers that.
It is less than the Advanced Model, which has 20 hours, a second free retest and one year of roadside assistance.
The package includes the official road test, Test Day Deluxe support and one free retest.
The test takes about 20 minutes and is given at the Warr Acres office. Arrive 10 minutes early with your learner permit. If you are under 18, also bring your driver education certificate of completion, and have your Work Zone Safety course done.
If the first attempt does not go well, wait the one day the state requires and use the free retest. When you pass, the examiner approves the result and you take it to a Tag Agency or Service Oklahoma for the license.
New driver coaching and the free 4-hour defensive driving class are part of Premium Plus as well.
